Guys. With all due respect, if your plan is to use the eclipse as an opportunity to proselytize, you’re going to make more enemies than friends.
To the contrary: if people feel unfulfilled because science can’t predict bouncing billiard balls or quantum motion, it might help to remember that science can still predict a total eclipse of the sun. Now I’m not making any promises, but if we all show up and the moon somehow is not where it should be and the eclipse doesn’t happen, then I for one might be more receptive to proselytizing. 😁
Excellent podcast with Andy Crouch. I love what was shared about music, nature, really getting to know people, and reading. I do think Christians and non-Christians are more open to mystery and humble faith, versus defensive argument and the need for certain and simple answers.
